Contract Description:
The CTUIR will continue working with local and regional partners to restore stream flows in Columbia River tributaries throughout the Tribes' ceded territories. This work will improve stream flows through water conservation and efficiency projects, leasing, source-switches, and outright water purchases. The objective of these efforts is to restore streams dewatered by agricultural diversions and aid in the recovery of the threatened and endangered salmonid species once abundant in these rivers.
