Contract Description:
We propose to determine if the operation of a electric barrier, proposed by Smith-Root Inc. to non-lethally deter sea lions, influences white sturgeon behavior or causes lethal or non-lethal physiological disturbance.  

Objective 1: To determine the behavioral responses of white sturgeon to "soft start" technology.    

Objective 2: To determine the behavioral response of white sturgeon to the electric barriers continuous operation.  

Objective 3: To determine the lethal or non-lethal physiological response of white sturgeon subjected to electric barrier operation.
