Contract Description:
This contract funds a new, innovative BPA project. Background engineering, equipment operation, and small-scale tests have already occurred under private funding, which lead to this full-scale field test at an example site on the Cowlitz River with a fish enumeration system. This contract will result in documentation of the capability of a Flow Velocity Enhancement System to direct fish to specific locations through the use of mechanically-induced flow and turbulence in reservoir environments.
