FISCAL YEAR 2009

OBJECTIVE 1.  Provide coordination of all activities, administrative oversight, project planning and assist in project implementation and monitoring activities.

OBJECTIVE 2.  Coordinate and implement Hood River Watershed  Action Plan.

OBJECTIVE 3.  Monitor and evaluate the changes in fish presence and habitat in Neal Creek resulting from completion of the East Fork Irrigation Central Canal project.

OBJECTIVE 4.  Monitor Hood River tributary surface waters for organophosphate pesticides and macroinvertebrates in spring and summer, before and after pesticide applications.

OBJECTIVE 5. Work with Dee Irrigation District to produce preliminarily design for irrigation system improvement that will eliminate push-up dam intake.

OBJECTIVE 6.  Increase fish habitat complexity in West Fork Neal Creek by adding large wood to the stream channel.

OBJECTIVE 7. Procure logs for  outyear  instream projects.

OBJECTIVE 8. Produce final plan for fish passage around two new waterfalls in Middle Fork Hood River.

OBJECTIVE 9. Complete East Fork Irrigation District's irrigation ditch headworks conceptual design.
