Contract Description:
This contract will advertise and select an appropriate, experienced engineering firm to design a channel reconstruction project on the Wallowa River adjacent to the city of Wallowa, OR.  The selected firm will be responsible for all survey, preliminary and final designs.  They will also be responsible for involving all stakeholders in the development of the designs at appropriate stages.  Typically, this would involve discussions at the 30, 60 and 90% complete phases.  The stakeholders that will be involved in these discussions are the landowners, Nez Perce Tribe, Grande Ronde Model Watershed and potentially ODFW, NMFS and USFWS.
