Contract Description:
As part of the long term coho reintroduction plan, as part of the larger Upper Columbia Production Project, one key site hasn't been addressed towards shifting Wenatchee stocks to Natural Production Implementation Phases- Trinity Overwinter Facility.  Focus location in 2023-2024 will center around the Trinity site in the Chiwawa drainage (upper Wenatchee basin).  This would provide both a strategic, high watershed release to maximize the habitat offered in the Chiwawa River basin as well as incorporate ESA listed spring Chinook releases form the facility to ensure a true supplementation effort is ongoing with spring Chinook in the Chiwawa.  Currently, releases are very low in the drainage and disconnected form their NOR counterparts.
