FISCAL YEAR 2014

OBJECTIVE 1.  Provide coordination of all activities, administrative oversight, project planning and implementation activities.

OBJECTIVE 2.  Coordinate and implement Hood River Watershed Action Plan.

OBJECTIVE 3. Continue  long term pesticide trend monitoring in the Hood River subbasin.

OBJECTIVE 4. Partner with Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers to plant vegetation along selected stream reaches to reduce pesticide spray drift.

OBJECTIVE 5.  Continue development of a water conservation plan for the East Fork Irrigation District.

OBJECTIVE 6.  Provide support to the Hood River County  water planning effort.

OBJECTIVE 7.  Conduct aquatic habitat surveys in Neal Creek and tributaries.

OBJECTIVE 8. Conduct Lidar mapping of the Neal Creek drainage.

OBJECTIVE 9. Assist East Fork Irrigation District with piping 4,000 ft. of open ditch.

OBJECTIVE 10. Implement instream large wood addition projects in partnership with USFS.

OBJECTIVE 10. Secure instream water rights.

OBJECTIVE 11. Maintain existing riparian exclosure fences.

Project funds will be provided the USFS to:
1. add large wood to a 2.25 mile reach of Lake Branch Creek, a tributary to the West Fork Hood River to restore fish habitat complexity.
2. acquire, haul and stockpile logs for outyear LWD projects.
