Contract Description:
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes' Administration Program is designed to implement three main areas of coverage: oversight of Accord projects and administrative duties associated with them, develop and implement educational assistance programs for Tribal members and to provide information on Accord programs to interested stakeholders, and to maintain the delivery of Accord program services throughout the calendar year.  Building on the successful graduation of three Tribal members in 2013 from accredited universities in Administration and Aquaculture, the Tribes anticipate educating three more students over the next two contract periods in biology, master's in ecology and an associates in aquaculture.  As in previous contract years, facilities will be leased in the Salmon River basin to accommodate the large amount of program work taking place under the Accord for anadromous fish.  In addition, the administrative capacity will be used to track program progress, personnel management, and data management for all Accord programs.  Finally, the Tribes anticipate offering numerous information and education opportunities throughout 2014 for the Tribal membership and interested stakeholders across the region.
