Contract Description:
The Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) will assist the CTWS HRPP with securing instream flows in the Hood River. During this contract period  the DRC will complete the following tasks:


1.  Assist CTWS and East Fork Irrigation District (EFID) with a process for securing water savings instream resulting from water conservation projects funded by CTWS and other entities.

2.  Prepare the OWRD Application for Conserved Water (or whatever process is adopted from the results of Task 1) for the Christopher Ditch Piping Project scheduled for 2014 implementation

3. Provide technical assistance to the CTWS for development of an offer to purchase a portion of Farmers Irrigation District’s (FID) hydropower water right, as offered by the district, to be transferred instream.

4. Pending the results of task 3, identify and assist with implementing a process for purchasing a portion of the FID hydropower water right.
