Contract Description:
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) and Columbia Land Trust (land-owner),  in partnership with BPA and the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will conduct restoration actions within the tidal reaches of the Elochoman River and Slough (approximately Columbia River Mile 40).  Under the past contract 57806 for the EXP Elochoman Tidal Restoration, Project Number 2010-070-00, WSDOT has designed and submitted permit applications for a large box culvert to replace the existing undersized cement culvert under State Route 4 at milepost 34.09.

WSDOT will remove the existing 48" pre-cast concrete pipe culvert (97 linear feet) under State Route 4 at the Elochoman Creek crossing and install a large concrete box culvert (that is 100 linear feet long (20' wide and 12' high).

This contract will be managed and administered by WDFW staff under the WA MOA Scoping contract, 62792, and its continuation contract after 8/31/14.  Quarterly status reporting and an Annual Report will also be provided through the scoping contract.
