The Cascadia Conservation District (CCD) offers support to BPA monitoring programs in the form of landowner and agency coordination. Specifically, the District coordinates outreach to private landowners in order to gain access for monitoring crews. For typical landowner coordination during habitat and fish monitoring surveys, private sites on the list are identified and appropriate landowners along these sections of stream are contacted by the District to ensure agency staff access will be possible and allowed by the landowner. The purpose of the survey is explained to the landowner and permission to access the stream at specific locations is requested. A database is developed and input into the CHaMP/ISEMP online website. The District serves as the contact point for questions from landowners about the purpose of the survey and for any special requirements specific landowners may have for agency staff to be aware of during visits to private sites.

In order to coordinate among Project elements, the need for any changes in scope that may arise during the implementation of this SOW will be communicated to BPA, NOAA Fisheries, and the BPA contracted monitoring agencies by contacting Richard Golden Jr (503.230.5119). Actual changes to this SOW must be approved by BPA.
