Contract Description:
The Natural Production Monitoring and Evaluation Project provides information to tribal, state and federal fisheries
managers by monitoring tribal harvest, juvenile outmigration, water temperatures, age and growth, adult salmon
passage, and natural spawning of salmon and steelhead in the Umatilla Basin. To optimize efficiencies, these
objectives are conducted collaboratively with CTUIR’s Lamprey Project, CTUIR’s Habitat Project, CTUIR’s Passage
Project. CTUIR Artificial Production Project, CTUIR Biomonitoring Project, and ODFW’s Outmigration Monitoring
Project.
