Contract Description:
This contract is directed toward implementing preliminary work leading to addressing the passage elements and recommendations of the CRITFC Tribal Pacific Lamprey Restoration Plan for the Columbia River Basin (CRITFC 2008).  Among other things, Plan elements and recommendations include evaluating/and fixing passage barriers such as those found in mainstem and tributary dam fishways and passage structures, tributary passage structures such as water diversions, developing tools to assess juvenile and adult lamprey passage and habitat and life history use, including use of appropriate populations and tools, exploring passage designs and tools, genetics and life history elements in river and reservoirs throughout the Columbia Basin.
