Contract Description:
Scope - Hudson Bay District Improvement Company performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance tasks at the Little Walla Walla Fish Screen and the Nursery Bridge Fish Ladder and Screen.  The facilities will be kept operational and performing within specifications for fish passage, screening, and trapping operations.  HBDIC will provide labor, equipment, supplies, and material necessary for the care and maintenance of these fish facilities.  The O&M Manuals provided by Montgomery Watson Harza (Little Walla Walla) and the Army Corps of Engineers (Nursery Bridge) will provide guidance for scheduling and scoping of specific maintenance tasks.

Coordination - HBDIC O&M personnel will coordinate closely with CTUIR/ODFW Walla Walla Fish Passage Operations (FPO) personnel in performing tasks under this contract.  FPO staff visit the two sites regularly to examine O&M of the facilities to ensure proper function and determine recommendations for any changes to ongoing activities.  HBDIC will rely on FPO biologists to determine O&M needs for fish passage and screening and HBDIC O&M personnel will perform in accordance with their direction on matters related to fish passage and screening.  HBDIC will participate in reviewing the Walla Walla Annual Operations Plan process with FPO personnel and other stakeholders to determine necessary changes to O&M activities on a yearly basis.
