Contract Description:
Create habitat for Chinook and steelhead at the confluence of the Yankee Fork and the West Fork by moving the Yankee Fork to the new channel, created during 2015 (phase I of this project), and creating a side-channel where the existing Yankee Fork channel will be abandoned.  Fish habitat will be created in the Yankee Fork downstream from the new confluence by creating two split channel segments.  Dredge tailings will be removed from the flood plain so that the flood-plain can be re-activated.  Disturbed areas will be seeded and planted with woody vegetation.
