Contract Description:
The project involves constructing a management platform, Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment (EDT), which may be used to evaluate the current condition of tributary habitats within the blocked area.  Existing stream habitat data will be used as EDT model inputs.  The strength of these data will be evaluated as a means to identify data gaps that are limiting the capability of conducting an assessment of current conditions.  Identifying these data gaps will facilitate efficient collection of specific parameters for inclusion in the model.  Ultimately, the model will be used to evaluate stream habitats within the blocked area of the upper Columbia River and their suitability to support Chinook salmon and steelhead.
