Contract Description:
This contract serves to consolidate the operation and maintenance of PIT tag antenna arrays managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). Data generated from these sites are essential in supporting ongoing fish-in and fish-out (FIFO) investigations that are key to informing management and recovery actions for ESA-listed spring Chinook and steelhead. Data collected as part of this project directly supports estimates of escapement, migration, productivity and survival. Additional PIT tag antenna arrays managed by the WDFW at other locations may be added to this contract in the future. This contract is managed by the WDFW but relies on working closely with Biomark who is responsible for providing replacement and upgrade parts for PIT tag antenna array maintenance. This contract also provides for project management, administration, coordination, and status and final reporting.
