Selected for FY24 funding under PLCI umbrella project.
The Pacific Lamprey Riparian Habitat Restoration Guide, published in 2015, will be expanded and updated to include lamprey-specific information that has become available over the past eight years, expand the focus beyond the Columbia River Basin to include the entire range of Pacific lamprey, provide examples of recent lamprey-focused restoration and conservations projects, highlight threats and best management practices, and provide an updated list of RMU contacts and other regional information sources for Pacific lamprey. Combined, these updates will expand the scope of relevance of the guide and increase awareness about Pacific lamprey to promote the recovery of this imperiled species.
