Contract Description:
This contract provides funding for Chelan County Natural Resource District (CCNRD) to do project planning, scoping, and design work in the Wenatchee and Entiat subbasins in the Upper Columbia.

Projects and tasks included:
1. Icicle Historic Channel - This contract cycle will include the continuation of design development from conceptual through a 30% design. This project was selected for funding through BPA's Upper Columbia Habitat Programmatic FY25 Targeted Solicitation Cycle.
2. Lower Wenatchee (Monitor) - This project will reach a 15% design in this contract. This site was identified as a future restoration opportunity in the Lower Wenatchee River and Lower Nason Creek Restoration Plan (2025).
3. Upper White Pine Phase 2 - A 15% design was developed under contract 97150. This contract will support development of a 30% design. This project was selected for funding through BPA's Upper Columbia Habitat Programmatic FY25 Targeted Solicitation Cycle.
4. Nason RM 12 - This project was selected for funding through BPA's Upper Columbia Habitat Programmatic FY25 Targeted Solicitation Cycle. Implementation work is funded under capital contract 97708 through 8/31/28. Late-stage design changes were required to align with BPA's HIP compliance pathway. This contract scope will provide funds to finalize design.
5. Upper Wenatchee Floodplain - This project was implemented with BPA funds (and other cost share) in 2024. BPA will provide one-time funding for CCNRD staff to maintain and monitor vegetation planted in disturbed areas at the Upper Wenatchee Floodplain Project site as needed to comply with the Hydraulic Project Approval permit obtained for the project.
6. Project scoping - Funds are provided for CCNRD staff time to explore and identify future project opportunities.
