Contract Description:
The Crystal Springs Planning and Operation/Maintenance is an ongoing Fish Accord project implemented to begin the preliminary design and planning for the Crystal Springs Hatchery and satellite weir facility proposed for the Yankee Fork Salmon River.  FY 2011 funding is proposed to be used for completing Steps 1 and 2 of the Council's 3-Step process, complete a hatchery genetics management plan for the proposed supplementation actions, produce environmental compliance documentation and perform routine administration of the contract.  It is anticipated that the majority of preliminary permit coordination, stakeholder and co-manager coordination, and response to ISRP concerns with the proposal will occur during the upcoming contract year.
