Contract Description:
This contract is solely for the purchase of radio telemetry tags for fall chinook salmon.   The actual fish tagging will be done by the USGS/USFWS cooperators for Project 2002-032-00.  Environmental clearance (EC) is not required for this contract (although the use of the Work Element-158 indicates that it does), but will be required under the co-sponsor contracts where the actual fish tagging takes place.  This SOW does not require Work Elements 132-Produce Annual (Progress) Report, 185-Produce Pisces Status Report or 119-Manage and Administer Project.

Run-at-large juvenile fall Chinook salmon collected from the forebay of Lower Granite Dam will be tagged weekly with 2.1-g radio tags (247-day life span) from mid September through mid November.  A target of 300 fish will be tagged.  Fish will be released at Blyton in Lower Granite Reservoir.
