Contract Description:
With the completion of the Gini Canal flume, Garden Creek has been opened up for passage from the confluence of Garden Creek with the Salmon River. Garden Creek also has connection with the Hannah Slough which shows some of the highest densities of Chinook Par in the area.

A new city well and the removal of the Garden Creek City diversion and consolidation with upstream irrigators will further enhance and open access to approximately 1.2 miles of habitat in Garden Creek.  In addition, project will provide approximately 1.5 cfs additional flows into Garden Creek.

This SOW will allow for the development of a new well, and the Environmental Review of the removal of the Garden Creek City diversion.  In addition, this SOW will allow for the completion of the Lyon Creek Pipeline and other enhancements being completed on Lyon Creek and the Broken Wing Ranch, and a riparian fence on the East Fork of the Salmon River.
