Contract Description:
John Day Dam Adult Ladder PIT Tag Detection

This contract will cover building sixteen (16) PIT tag antennas for use in the John Day Dam Adult Ladders.  The antennas include 4 overflow antennas and 4 orifice antennas for the south ladder and 4 overflow antennas and 4 orifice antennas for the north ladders. All 16 antennas will be constructed with copolymer polypropylene outer shells, ferrite tiles for RF noise insulation, mounted on aluminum shields, and wired with 16 gauge antenna wire. More information about the antennas may be found in the PowerPoint titled, John Day Dam Adult PIT Tag Ladders, in the attachments section.


Drawings will be provided to the selected vendor for both overflow and orifice antenna designs. Antennas will be designed for underwater use and be made leak-proof. The antennas will be delivered to John Day Dam upon acceptance by PSMFC.
