Contract Description:
The USFS will use contract funds to place large woody debris in and along a 0.6 mile reach of Red Hill Creek and a 0.7 mile reach of the West Fork Hood River to improve fish habitat.  Funds will also be used to repair the access road and stream side areas damaged during log movement and placement, if necessary.

This work will be implemented between July 15, 2016 through September 30, 2016.  The goal of the Red Hill project is to place about 300 logs and the goal of the West Fork Hood River project is to place approximately 1200-1500 logs for fish habitat restoration.
