Photo of a nutrient diffusing substrate experiment placed in-stream. Each wooden rack contained 6-8 replicate vials of four treatments (N, P, NP and Control); vials were attached to the rack using rubber bands. Racks were secured to the stream bottom using rebar and rubber bands.

Tributaries include Beaver Creek (BEV), Bear Valley Creek (BVA), Camas Creek (CAM), Chamberlain Creek (CHA), Cape Horn Creek (CHO), Curtis Creek (CUR), Elk Creek (ELK), Elk Creek Tributary (ETR), Herd Creek (HER), Lake Creek (LAK), Lower Big Creek (LBG), Loon Creek (LOO), March Creek (MAR), Rush Creek (RUS), Secesh River (SEC), South Fork Salmon River (SFS), Sulphur Creek (Sullivan and Moncreiff), Summit Creek (SUM), Upper Big Creek (UBG), Valley Creek (VAL), West Fork Chamberlain (WFC).
