FISCAL YEAR 2015

OBJECTIVE 1.  Provide coordination of all activities, administrative oversight, project planning and implementation activities.

OBJECTIVE 2.  Coordinate and implement Hood River Watershed Action Plan.

OBJECTIVE 3. Continue  long term pesticide sampling in the Hood River subbasin.

OBJECTIVE 4. Partner with Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers to plant vegetation along selected stream reaches to reduce pesticide spray drift.

OBJECTIVE 5. Procure logs for out year LWD projects in the event the USFS is unable to provide them.

OBJECTIVE 6.  Provide support to the Hood River County  water planning effort.

OBJECTIVE 7. Inspect previously implemented LWD project to determine if project goals have been met.

OBJECTIVE 8. Secure water  instream.

OBJECTIVE 9. Maintain existing riparian exclosure fences.

OBJECTIVE 10. Remove a remnant pipeline berm in the Powerdale corridor.

Funds from this project will be contracted to the USFS to hire equipment and operators and haul logs / boulders to implement the Red Hill large wood placement project.
